Company Auditions
Auditions for the DD&TA Companies will be held September 3rd-5th.
*Make sure to read through requirements and estimated costs prior to trying out! This will all be available the week before the first class on July 29th. NEW! Company contracts will need to be signed, and turned in, by BOTH the dancer and parent/guardian, PRIOR to tryouts!
THE CONTRACT AND ALL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO CLASSES BEGINNING ON JULY 29TH!! Make sure to thoroughly read and sign PRIOR to tryouts! ALL DANCERS WILL NEED TO HAVE TURNED IN A SIGNED CONTRACT TO BE PERMITTED TO TRYOUT!
Make sure to show up to these auditions stretched, if necessary, and ready to go! ALL Jazz/Ballet participants will begin with the ballet audition. Please wear jazz clothes, but make sure that you wear clothing that allows us to see your body lines. Tap Dancers: anything goes, but please do not wear anything distracting and make sure your pants do not cover your feet, in any way, if you wear pants. Tumblers: comfortable clothing you can tumble in that is not distracting. Finally: hair must be pulled back and away from the face for all auditions and a ballet bun must be worn for junior/teen/senior ballet auditions.
*Please be signed up and ready to go at least 10 minutes prior to the audition so that we can start promptly. You will not be allowed to enter the room if you are late.
JAZZ and BALLET are combined as one company per age group. TAP is a separate company per age group.
TUMBLING includes all ages of ADVANCED LEVELS!
Tuesday, September 3rd: TRYOUTS DAY 1!! Arrive early to sign-up and get your number put on!
4pm-5:15pm: Mini Core Tap Tryouts (For those still age 11 or under through December 31st, 2024).
5:30pm-6:15pm: Mini Core Hip Hop Tryouts (For those still age 11 or under through December 31st, 2024).
6:30pm-8:15pm: Junior Core Jazz/Ballet/Contemporary (For those in 8th grade or below for the 2024-2025 school year). Please arrive fully stretched and wear ballet clothes for the first half of the audition. Bring Jazz clothes for the 2nd half.
Wednesday, September 4th: TRYOUTS DAY 2!! Arrive early to sign-up and get your number put on!
4pm-5:15pm: Mini Core Jazz/Ballet/Contemporary Tryouts (For those still age 11 or under through December 31st, 2024). Arrive stretched! You DO NOT need to wear ballet clothes for the ballet portion. Please wear fitted jazz clothes for the entire audition!
5:30pm-6:45pm: Tumbling Company Tryouts (all ages who have the required tricks are welcome!)
7pm-8:45pm: Teen & Senior Core Jazz/Ballet/Contemporary Tryouts (You must be in at least 6th grade or above for 2024-2025 school season to tryout for Teens. You must be in 9th grade or above to tryout for Senior Jazz/Ballet/Contemporary. You will see a star next to your name if you have been placed on senior. Not ALL high school students will make senior. It will be based on your score). Please arrive fully stretched and wear ballet clothes for the first half of the audition. Bring Jazz clothes for the 2nd half.
Thursday, September 5th: TRYOUTS DAY 3!! Arrive early to sign-up and get your number put on!
4pm-5:30pm: Junior Core Tap Tryouts (For those in 8th grade or below for the 2024-2025 school year).
5:45pm-7:15pm: Senior Core Tap Tryouts (You must be in at least 6th grade or above for 2024-2025 school season to tryout).

*Sunday, September 8th at 6:30pm: ALL 2023-2024 PARENTS AND CORE COMPANIES WILL HAVE A MANDATORY MEETING
